Hydrangea Blue

Hydrangea macrophylla

A bit of blue to cool down now that we are breaking all the temperature records. In peak of flower at the moment are the Hydrangeas.
For more information on Hydrangeas in Australia there is the National Collection of Hydrangeas at the George Tindale Memorial Gardens, 33 Sherbrooke Road , Sherbrooke Victoria 3789.

  1. Two of my favorite blues. I look forward to next summer when they bloom again.

  2. Ian, living only 150 miles southeast from Atlanta, I have a great affection for hydrangeas. You know, you can control the color of the blossoms, by the amount of acid in your soil. But this deep blue is my all time favorite.
