Solar Flash Sunflower

It wouldn't be a real summer without growing some sunflowers. This year I planted a couple of branching varieties which grow to about 1.5 metres.

  1. I envy your sunflowers:-)I planted some seeds 15 days ago and not a sign of germination:-( So I planted some yesteday, a day before the New Moon being considered favourable for germination by the local gardeners. And I am keeping my fingers crossed.
The Champaka is a very popular summer flower here too. Some streets in my suburb is lined with the flame coloured variety of it.
